opens the door for the common man to fly the Tiranga at Night
Bilaspur, August 10th 2010 : In a landmark
Judgement Honble High Court of Bilaspur quashed the FIR
and the complaint against the management of Naveen Jindal led
Jindal Power Limited and also quashes the order of Chief
Judicial magistrate, Raigarh, dated 4th March 2008 for flying
the National Flag during night. The court in its judgement said
that not lowering the flag at night is no violation of the
Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971. This
historical judgement opens the door for the common man to fly
the Tiranga at night.

Day and Night Monumental Tiranga - The National Flag
Gurgaon (Haryana) July 11th 2010 : The
entire atmosphere was electric and nationalistic feelings
aroused the sentiments of the youth and people of Gurgaon when
Honble Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Bhupinder Hooda
along with Shri Naveen Jindal, Member of Parliament, Kurukshetra
unfurled the 100 ft high Tiranga at Leisure Valley Park, here
today.

University of Texas at Dallas' in a glittering ceremony. The
Award has been conferred upon him for his contribution to the
public service, responsible corporate citizen and guiding his

wear Tiranga Lapel Badge in the Lok Sabha
Another feather in Shri Naveen Jindals Cap
New Delhi, February 19, 2010: In a pleasant and long
awaited decision, the Lok Sabha on 18th February, 2010 decided
to allow Members of Parliament to wear Lapel Pins displaying the
National Flag on their person in the august House. It may
surprise many to know that according the to Rule No. 349 (XIV)
of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Lok
Sabha Members of the Parliament were not allowed to wear badges
of any kind while seated in the House.

Home Ministry gives consent to Shri Jindals
proposal
New Delhi, December 23, 2009 - Shri Naveen Jindal,
Member of Parliament, Kurukshetra took the National Flag to the
next level of patriotism when the Home Ministry agreed to a
proposal made by Shri Naveen Jindal to fly the flag at night
also where the flag is installed on the monumental / giant
poles.
PM to visit
Pehowa, Kurukshetra on 4th May, 2009
Kurukshetra, April 29, 2009 Shri Manmohan Singh, Honble
Prime Minister is visiting Pehowa in the Kurukshetra
Parliamentary Constituency to give impetus to the ongoing high
voltage campaigning of Shri Naveen Jindal who is contesting from
Kurukshetra on the Congress ticket. The PM will be visiting
Pehowa on 4th May, 2009 at 10:00 AM to address the people and
tell them how the government in the centre was rest assured with
the all-round developmental activities undertaken by the young
and dynamic MP Naveen Jindal. The last five years have witnessed
an unprecedented growth, progress & development in the
constituency.

files nomination from Kurukshetra
Kurukshetra, April 17 : Industrialist Naveen Jindal
today filed his nomination papers as a Congress candidate from
the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency in Haryana. He had
defeated Mr Abhay Singh Chautala, son of former Chief Minister
O.P.Chautala, by a margin of over 1.60 lakh votes in 2004.
Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda, the State Chief Minister, Mr Phool
Singh Mulana, the Pradesh Congress Committee Chief, and Mr
Jindals family members were with him at the time of filing
of the nomination. The family members included mother Mrs
Savitri Jindal, who is a Minister in the Haryana government,
industrialist brothers Mr P. R. Jindal, Mr Sajjan Jindal, and Mr
Ratan Jindal, Wife Mrs Shallu Jindal, and sisters.
Mr Jindals supporters had organized a massive rally in
the city today. While other local leaders continued with the
rally at a distance, the chief minister, the PCC chief , Mr
Jindal and his family members left the rally venue at about noon
to file the nomination which was scheduled for 12.30 PM.
After coming back, the Chief Minister told the enthusiastic
crowds that they must take into account the development works
done by the Manmohan Singh-led UPA government, the Congress
government in the state headed by him , and Mr Jindals
performance in the constituency before casting their votes.
